Sorona is an eco-efficient performance fibre developed by Dupont. This fibre transforms the fabric into an effortlessly soft and resilient fabric that embraces you like an old friend.
Sorona is a semi-synthetic yarn – derived from nature but constructed with man-made processes. The sugar or glucose from the plants is fermented to produce a bio-PDO (propanediol) in a natural way. This bio-PDO is then mixed with TPA (terephthalic acid) to produce the yarn.
Fabrics made with Sorona have the following characteristics:

Stretch & Recovery: Sorona offers inherent stretch, making it a great replacement for Lycra / Spandex.
Moisture Wicking: Dries quickly and wicks moisture off your skin providing unparalleled comfort.

Exceptional Softness: The exquisite softness that Sorona lends to fabrics, makes it feel like second skin.
Renewably Sourced: 37% of the Sorona fibre is derived from plant-based materials.
“Hemp – The Eco Fibre”
Hemp, often considered an Environmental Super Fibre, is nature’s most sustainable crop. It belongs to the Cannabis Sativa plant family, which grows well in warm tropical zones and in moderately cool climates.
The hemp plant grows like a weed, not requiring any harmful pesticides for its growth and thriving on lesser water than most plants. It has the highest yield per acre among cotton and flax (from which linen is produced). It even gives back rich organic matter to the top soil, thereby enriching it!
Fabric made from Hemp, is airy, breathable and 8 times more stronger than cotton. Hemp is naturally hypo-allergic, thus resulting in fabric that is very comfortable to wear. It looks exactly like linen and is naturally UV resistant, making it the fabric of choice for the summer.
